Yes I did it twice and enjoyed both cruises. I would not stay on a high floor as the music goes almost all night. Lower decks are much more quiet. Food is just OK but if you love Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba Kizomba dancing you should have a good time.

I went twice and enjoyed it both times. If it’s something you can afford (both in money and time off) I recommend it highly! It’s a great party and TONS of fun.

I did it once, last year. I was very disappointed and would not return.

If you really like cruises, it’s probably a good time. I don’t particularly care for cruises per se — I was mostly excited about the dance classes. Many of them were held in locations on the ship that were way too small for classes, like a hallway, and they filled up. Then you’d have to try to find another class and it might already be halfway through a routine and you’d be lost. Then, some classes I tried to attend were canceled without notice because the teacher just didn’t show up.

A lot of people like to talk about it like it is a big orgy, but I think that’s just silly marketing. It isn’t nearly as much of a sex fest as dragoncon, for example. I’m sure there were people hooking up, but it didn’t seem any more wild in that arena than a regular cruise. If you want to engage in that, you could, but if you didn’t want to, you wouldn’t have to.

The live music and competitions were amazing, but I feel like I could find that elsewhere.

The music and parties were fun — I’d just rather go to a salsa fest on land and save my cruise/travel dollars for a nice trip elsewhere.

At the end of the day, it’s just a cruise with a lot of people who like salsa. If that sounds fun, go for it.

It’s incredible. Definitely would suggest trying at least once. Several floors of dance, different classes to learn new moves and styles.
